Rebecca Sternadel

Rebecca has almost 30 years experience with horses, and has dedicated most of her life to improving her ability to ride and train horses. She first learned how to ride with a mounted drill team, later she became a student worker for Jane Shaw a hunter jumper trainer in Lake View Terrace, California. There she learned how to jump, helped give beginner lessons, and assisted in running camps during the summer and winter.  At the age of 18 she set off  to start her own riding school. For 10 years she operated a successful riding school in Lake View Terrace, California.  There she taught basic riding to children and adults of varying riding experience, along with running seasonal riding camps, and attending local shows with students.  While assessing a potential horse in Bakersfield, for a client, she stumbled on the world of reined cow horse. Soon after, she started working for Roger Bias, a cow horse trainer in Bakersfield California.  She then changed course and dedicated the last 10 years to learning how to train and compete on a cow horse. She has worked for NRCHA’s Million Dollar Rider and 2017 Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion Jake Gorrell. She ran her own cow horse operation for several years and some of her accomplishments include:

2018 Wild Spayed Filly Futurity Reserve Champion

2018 3rd place Limited Open Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity

2018 Limited Open Hackamore Regional, National, and World Champion

2019 7th place Limited Open NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity

2019 Open Two Rein NRCHA Reserve World Champion

She takes pride and finds great enjoyment in helping both horse and rider improve and build confidence.

 1 Hour Private Lesson: $80

 1 Hour 2 Riders: $55 (each rider)

1 Hour 3-5 Riders: $45 (each rider)

Rafael Casian

Rafael grew up on Aliso Ranch and learned at a very a young age how to handle a horse. He joined Aliso Ranch Stables as a horse trainer in 2020.
